My name’s Lee, and I didn’t come from finance or business school. I came from 10 years in a toxic job, working under a manipulative boss for less than minimum wage — stuck in a cycle of emotional pressure and burnout, just trying to figure it out. It all came to a head in 2017, when things hit a low point after a tragic family event shook everything — it pushed me to take a break from life as I knew it. So, I packed a bag and started traveling the world, trying to find some clarity.

While hopping from one country to another, I noticed that whenever I went to exchange my currency, the rate would change every day. That’s when a business idea hit — what if I could buy currency when it was cheap and sell it for profit when it increased in value? I imagined doing it physically with banknotes, but after a bit of research, I stumbled into a much bigger world — forex trading.

What I thought would be a simple side hustle turned into a full-blown rabbit hole. I learned about leverage, technical analysis, and market psychology — and also discovered how brutal trading can be. With no steady income and my savings running out, I realized this wasn’t going to be easy. I had to go back to work, but the dream of becoming a full-time trader never left me.

Everything changed in 2019 when I met my first mentor — a former city bank trader from London. Who I had the privilege to learn from directly, and it was a game changer. Around that same time, I also found God, which taught me a lot about greed, patience, and staying grounded — all crucial lessons in trading and in life. Together, faith and guidance gave me the structure and direction I’d been searching for.

These days, I focus on trading Gold (XAUUSD) and major Indexes, drawn to their volatility and opportunities. I’ve been trading for over 7 years now, and I share my real P&L on my YouTube channel — not to flex, but to show the raw, unfiltered reality of day trading.
